The Item Maker skill can be obtained by any character (except for Beginners) starting from Level 45. The following quests have to be completed to obtain the Maker skill at its respective level:

- Moren's New Discovery (Level 45, Maker skill Level 1)
- Moren's Second Round of Teaching (Level 75, Maker skill Level 2)
- Moren's Third Round of Teaching! (Level 105, Maker skill Level 3)

Depending on the items you'd like to forge through the Maker skill, most armours and some weapons require Magic Powders. Monster Crystals, on the other hand, are forged from 100 leftover items of a monster of a specified level (refer here for a complete list); for instance, to forge Basic Monster Crystal 1, you'd need to have 100 leftover items from the same Level 31-50 monster.

Optionally, you may also improve your equipments' stats by Strengthening gems and crystals via your Maker menu. Each time you Strengthen a gem or a crystal, this will cost you 110,000 mesos, and you may end up with either a Basic, Intermediate, or an Advanced Gem/Crystal.

Also, you may only create items that are for your own class only. (For example, a Warrior cannot forge equipments from the Magician class.)

Practice Shoes - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Practice Shoes Order Form, 10 Seal Skin, 5 Needle Pouch, and 5 Thimble.
Kid Shoes - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Kids' Shoes Order Form, 20 Jr. Yeti Skin, and 3 Dragon Skin.
Shovel - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Work Shovel Order Form, 30 Hardened Piece of Mithril, 20 Processed Wood, and 5 Steel Plate.
White Crewneck Shirt - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 White Cotton Shirt Order Form, 10 Magic Powder (White), and 100 White Fang Tail.
Beach Sandals - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Beach Sandals Order Form, 1 Magic Powder (Blue), 25 Mr. Alli's Leather, and 25 Straw Doll.
Water Gun for Training - With the skill Maker Level 1 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Training Gun Order Form, 70 Wires, 7 Mecateon's Laser Gun, and 7 Screw.
Gloves for Outside - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Outdoor Gloves Order Form, 1 Magic Powder (Brown), 30 Dark Rash's Furball, and 10 Lucida Tail.
Mittens - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Mittens Order Form, 1 Magic Powder (Red), 30 Harp's Tail Feather, and 20 Soft Feather.
Clean Mop - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Clean Mop Order Form, 6 Magic Powder (White), 12 Blood Harp's Crown, 1 Small Flaming Feather, and 36 Stiff Feather.
Training Uniform - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Training Uniform Order Form, 3 Magic Powder (White), 30 Red Belt, and 30 Kentaurus's Flame.
Durable Rake - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Strong Rake Order Form, 30 Lime Powder Bottle, 10 Steel Plate, and 10 Processed Wood.
Warm Fur Boots - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Fur Boots Order Form, 30 Viking Sail, 5 Firebomb Flame, and 20 Soft Feather.
Gold Anvil - With the skill Maker Level 2 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 Doodly Paper, 6 Gold Plate, 2 Steel Plate, and 1 Lidium.
King's Turban - With the skill Maker Level 3 and 0 mesos, forge this item with 1 King's Turban Order Form, 30 Soft Feather, 1 Wisdom Crystal, 10 Diamond, and 1 Star Rock.
